I am giving this book a 5 star review, not because I absolutely am in love with Koi, but because the context of this book took me out of the life I am in now (in which I thought was horrible) to someone else's life who has been through much much more than I could ever imagine going through myself. Throughout my journey reading this book Koi took me away from the troubles I was facing in my own life and guided me past it. Yes, there were many many typos, but I'd rather read this book a thousand times over than a book with perfect grammar and no true intellectual meaning. Good job Koi, much much love for you.

Fresco makes a lot of good and insightful points. The first half of the book is an autobiography with the goal of giving the reader a background into his life and why he believes what he believes. The second half is mostly philosophical, and explains in depth the path that Fresco has chosen for himself. His explanation is very clear.
My one complaint is that, near the end of the book, Fresco creates the analogy of life being like a video game with the only goal being to "level up" in terms of enlightenment or knowledge of the path. The analogy asserts that people with a lower "level" than oneself simply has not been educated in the path and needs to be helped. Although it may not be what Fresco was intending to say, this analogy communicates that there is one objectively true path that everyone should follow. Maybe it's just me, but that runs me the wrong way.

This was an incredible and eye opening book. I would recommend this book to everyone and anyone seeking better understanding of themselves and world around them. This book allowed me to embrace to the meaning of life through a greater understand, to not take things for granted but live in the moment through trial and error. To allow myself to take a few steps back and analyze my situation before acting. Thank you very much Koi for devoting your time and effort into not only this book but your YouTube channel and other methods of outreach to everyone through social media. Much Love and Happiness! ❤️😁

about 100 pages in and i am IN LOVE with this book, Koi is a GREAT writer, YES there is A COUPLE (not a lot) of grammar errors / typos but nothing that is not possible to understand what he is saying, it is really great to read this book and is refreshing, Koi is not a pseudo-intellectual who purposely makes his books difficult to read, this book is written so smoothly and you can follow along without having to do a double take/re-read (which is great for me)

I have been a fan of Koi and his videos for over a year. His videos have encouraged and inspired me a lot of the last year. However, this book was a huge disappointment. I do value the first half of the book for his transparency in being vulnerable about his past with drugs and jail. If it wasn't for that I would probably rate this book lower. The second half was not some awakening spiritual guide that many might think. There was however some good life lessons and basic philosophy amongst a lot of rambling that one might apply to their path or spiritual walk. However, Koi unintentionally makes the reader feel lower for not being at the same place in the path as he is. Also, as an ethical hunter who likes healthy wild game, I am NOT any less spiritual for not choosing to be vegan. Many indigenous tribes, including tribes in my state, have eaten wild game for centuries and the practice of hunting is part of their spiritual practice, ceromonies, and community. This book tries to make you feel guilty for not being a vegan, and says know you have the knowledge so you better not eat meat anymore if you want to be humane (although spelled human). Also, the last page of the book he says, "this is now your path". I am sorry but just because I read his book, I can still choose my own path. Finally, the amount of grammar and spelling errors in the book reflected a rushed job putting out this book, and left a very different impression of the intellect of Koi. I appreciate the open heart about his past, but this book definitely changed my opinion on Koi.

This is great book for anyone going through rocky times in life, or just someone trying to change themselves for the better. I have read it twice and I love it, I love, I love it. Koi is relatable and charming in a way that will inspire anyone to lead a more positve lifestyle. Him and his work have come to me at a great time. Well worth the money. Thank you Koi, without your help I would not be the same.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent for a first book. (Spoiler)Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2017

It was a decent book, a lot of grammar errors though. The beginning of the book was more interesting than the second part, the book goes from him talking about his personal life to methods that worked for him and guide to becoming awakened and enlightened. It didn't really touch me as much as I thought it would, maybe it's just me I don't know.

It's really great to read, and get to know more about Koi after i've followed him so closely on social media. Reading through the first half of this book, and discovering more about his life and the hardships he'd been through, i now have so much more respect for him then i already did!
Keep doing what you're doing Koi, we need more people like you in this world!

The sotry of Koi's life is very nice and make the reader think again about life. I liked the 2 parts of the book.
The only reason I do not put 5 star is for the many grammar mistakes in the book that makes it less convicing.
Readers, read for the story and not for the writing, it's worth it.

Very uplofting and not at all overwhelming like some books with similar messages can be. My only criticism is the lack of proof reading.
