Home Groups

Anna Wilkinson and Kerstin Reimers look forward to welcoming you to the Home Group you've been allocated (either 9am AEST or 5pm AEST), not both! We will send you an email with the link and guidelines. You are warmly invited to come to the Introductory Session for Home Groups on the first day of Yearly Meeting (5pm AEST, Saturday 2 July) to learn more and ask questions. Most of all, we hope you will be enriched by this daily opportunity for friendship and sharing in a small group. A concert or a Quiz?

Many (not all) love a YM concert. A challenge to do in an online environment. But Julie Walpole has figured out a way to do a quiz. Look in the Daily Notices for clues, and threads. Then join in on the evening of Saturday 9th July at 6:30 AEST. Sharpen your pencils and you wits. Gather a team together; you know how much you want to win, don't you!!    Here is a sneak preview, for you to limber up on. Trivia ahead of YM22: Most answers can be found on https://www.quakersaustralia.info/yearly-meeting-2022 Where is YM22 being held?? When does YM22 start? Backhouse lecture: Which day/evening will this happen? Who is giving the lecture? Where does the lecturer live? How many days does YM run? When is the concert? Now about coffee and chat: There will be some questions available about this. They’ll go to the coffee conveners. Who is the Convener of the Quaker Peace and Legislation Committee? Will the YM Treasurer wear shorts? What colour? How many Quaker members/attenders/children in your Regional Meeting? (If you are a non-Australian, just answer for the whole of Australia.) What is in Documents in Advance??? (Or what isn’t???) How many Share and Tells are being offered? What is the theme of Friendly school? And how many choices are there? Rosters: Who is leading Epilogue on Tuesday? What is the theme? Who is on the roster for door greeting on Thursday? What about meal tickets on Monday night? And who will be washing up??
