5.0 out of 5 stars A rare book in my opinion, as it focusses on a subject other than Rumi's poems.

Very pleased with this book. I know that I will read it repeatedly over time, due to the stimulation it provides.

Following intensive research, the purchase of this book has been a part of the process of building a library of Islamic literature, that relates particularly to seeking the path of excellence in spirituality, purification of the heart, ascetism, and an appreciation and understanding of the experiences of those who have followed this very path previously. The goal, God willing, in turn is to be inspired and motivated to seek success in a journey of personal development. Hence, this book is a piece of the puzzle of the big picture.

A rare find of what is easily the most important academic text on Rumi's prose, by this age's most distinguished scholar of the same.

Fîhi ma-fih is a book that was formed in this way. Each part consists of quotations from the conversations of Mevlana in my time. In my opinion, it is not indispensable; It would be beneficial to save the energy that will be spent on reading this book for the written works of His Excellency.
Apart from the content of the book, I cannot understand how the late Gölpınarlı, a literary historian and translator, came up with such a bad translation… flagLike  · comment · see review Sep 11, 2014

Mehmet Kırtorun added it    review of another edition The thing that never endures. Because this form has no power without love. The thing that CANNOT exist without the original is its ancillary. Therefore, Allah cannot be called a form. When a form is a fer', it is not possible to call it fer'. For even love is a formless hypothetical (considered) and it is not a mun'akit (contracted). Binaenaleyh becomes a fer-i surat. Why is love not a bi-form? muhakkık (the one who has an opinion on ingenuity). If the embroidery is not without a mural, even the mural is not without an embroidery, but embroidery is the main one."
