I'm sad to say that this book was not what I expected. When I read the sub-title for this book, I assumed that it would be a little more comprehensive review of the New Thought movement. Instead, it is a review of the history of the Unity School of Christianity. That is its primary focus, not on the history of the broader New Thought movement. The information that the book contained about the other branches of New Thought was brief and even cursory. I had learned more about those histories in my own studies, then what this book gave.
As an explanation of the history of Unity, this book is good, as a history of the broader New Thought movement, not so much.
