This book gives you an understanding of Eastern spiritual thinking. It highlights writings from many, many, teachers, all wonderful, all heartfelt, so you get a lot of approaches to Eastern thought. I found the teachings of Swami Prahavananda the most helpful in understanding, from a practical, everyday "spiritual" viewpoint, how to understand and live a spiritual life, and also the value of a meditation practice. He has several sections in this book.
