I'm using this book for teaching Theories of Personality, and I appreciate the multicultural approach.
It's affordable, readable, and
fits 21st century global learning.
So many other Personality textbooks revise editions without bringing the material (so much of it IS old material no matter how you slice it) to present day relevance. Kelland includes Sociobiological and philosophical approaches (mindfulness, Buddism, etc.) to understanding how personality may evolve. Students seem to appreciate that it's affordable and it's readable. As an instructor, I appreciate that it's not watered down just because it's not a big publisher holding.
