초록
From the point of view of Jacques Derrida and poststructuralists, negative theology is no other than an onto-theology or a system of hermeneutics of the despotic Signifier. However, in this writing, the writer tried to demonstrate the poststructural characteristics of so-called negative theology or speculative mysticism by means of semiotic methodology of Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari.
In short, the writer defines that mysticism of Meister Eckhart and Mechthild von Magdeburg is a type of the system of postsignifying regime of sign. The postsignifying regime of sign is a system of betrayal. The assembly of the power is manifested at the face. Thus, the faciality is a politics and the system of betrayal would be expressed at the face. Averting face is a start point of the line of flight. Cain, Moses, and Jesus have averted their faces against their own tradition, religion, and gods.
However, the point of averting face is the origin of subjectification. At that point, Cain began to draw a new subject which was independent upon God. Moses fled from the regime of Pharaoh at the moment of averting his own face. Jesus' betrayal to Judaism resulted in the creation of new religion. In the same sense, averting faces of Eckhart and Mechthild began to launch new type of religious experience and theology.
