This is a tough read in that it is very academic. That being said it is a very important book if you really want to understand the theology and spirituality of early Friends. The basis on the traditional testimonies is described in great detail. It also includes critical documents for Quakers. It really is worth working through it. It is one that you will go back to again and again as a reference.
