I have a grown grand-daughter who constantly doubts herself, her career (nurse), her focus and direction in life. I'm trying to make her realise that she only needs to be herself and allow life to unfold just ahead of her. She is a sweet girl who is wracked by problems which don't necessarily exist in reality. It's my hope that she will understand that to be oneself is, very often, enough.  Thank you for your YT content, George, I'm enjoying it greatly.

The shaman said "keep pursuing your goodness." That is so true. Pursue love , not anger, not hedonism. Small steps help us gain confidence to tackle larger questions later.

omg I understand Russian, and what he said is pure awesomeness!

He said you doubt and second guess because you don’t know your path.

The path is endeavoring towards goodness, and you walk the path when you pass that goodness from yourself on to others.

Under no circumstance withhold that goodness.

Hey George, me and my family visited Genadiy, too, in Khuzir on Olkhon. He really could read everyone by just looking at him. He gave advise to me and my family that fit perfectly. It was the definition of pure magic and changed a lot, like I see the world.

Striking . . . this Shaman reminded me so much of my Grandfather in voice, mannerisms and attitude, as though I were sitting listening to him once more. The earthy wisdom coming out of Eastern Europe and Central Asia is truly remarkable!

I have been studying the shamans of Siberia for a while now, from the side of Finnish language and Uralic mythology, and I actually ended up reading about how Taoism came out of how people in ancient China observed this tradition, older than civilization. Their wisdom and connectedness to nature is so true and must be explored and preserved, for future generations, along with their native languages. Thank you for this video!

I personally relate to the Shaman's message and your own situation George. I too doubt myself and where I am going, even though I am already on a path of living as my authentic self. It is good to be reminded of where you are in reality.
As a perfectionist I am often afraid to make mistakes, but mistakes are a part of growth, so it's essential that we tolerate them in ourselves.

Hi George, thanks for all your wonderful videos.
When I was in doubt, a Zen master once told me "There is not right way or wrong way. When you think about right or wrong you get off the path." Another Buddhist monk also told me that if I don't know where I'm going or if what I do is right, I should just keep going slowly like if I was looking at my feet. The answer will come to me later as flowers bloom in the Spring.

I thought these words could be useful to you as well.

My 55 years of stuggling with depression and seeking one external source of hapiness after another ended when I met an Indian Master who just simply blessed me!  I can never be more grateful than for being put back on the path of divinity!  He said to me 'you have forgotten who you are!'  ........and gave me a name 'Sanatan!'
Thankyou for this!

Do not doubt yourself brother, you walk the path each day you get out of your own way.  Thank you so much, I had the most enlightening experience through this video.  Many thanks to Genadiy for his words of wisdom.  Energy flows from me as never before, I did not realize I was being so selfish,  wrapped up in my constant fear and worry.  Thank you both for the work you do.  Be well!  Namaste

I’m 62 and the majority of my adult life until very recently has consisted of phoney shallow meaningless activity, making me feel desperately unhappy. I would LOVE to have had an influence in my life like Genadiy, there is much wisdom and consolation in his words and his presence. He’s an authentic person, living in an honest and truthful relation with the world around him.

Thank you! I think self-doubt is most peoples' most persistant and limiting block, so thank you for sharing that wise soul's words. It was heartwarming to revisit Baikal through your video, and to see and feel Shamanka's energy.. . Even though we visited Olkhon in the warm season, without the ice, it was a magic place. One morning we rose early to beat the crowds to Shamanka and felt very blessed to witness two local shamans just quietly going about their personal ceremony.. Once they seemed complete, I walked quietly down and sat on the boulder facing Shamanka and fluted to that beautiful lake, and sacred Shamanka. I am very grateful that Bayurat Shamans so clearly live their lives as just that. Sacred. That is the feeling of that place. And what beauty your Tai Chi brought to that place, too. Thank you.

Such simple and sound advice—yet, it can be so difficult to implement into one’s life, especially in an active career driven society. It’s so easy to overcomplicate our problems and seek complex answers, but this man is so right in his words. But the hard part is, shedding the countless layers of disillusionment, anger, anxiety and sadness that shield that supremely wise and simple truth.

To be honest I am kinda surprised that you are doubting yourself and because of it I want you to know this:
You are posting content that helps me and alot of other people grow as a person.
If you are not acting completely different behind the camera, you are a very likeable person and probably really intelligent as well.
You're one of the few people I'm personally looking up to (the only youtuber on that list).

This Shaman is the Wisdom Keeper🙏Always remember we are interdependent with nature. The New Now is here. This may appear as an economic crisis,  it is a spiritual crisis on this planet.  As a collective, we will rise consciousnessly.  May all beings know peace.

Such a great video! Yes, yes, and yes. Being present with where your JOY is,  and connecting to your spirit to intuitively guide your decisions, and actions remove all uncertainty and identification with "figuring out" if you are right. Follow the good. What feels right in the heart is the right way always. Thank you George for the wonderful video, I am currently immersed in studying shamanism, and since I am part Russian, part Colombian the really spoke to me:) #spiritualpath

It drops below -20C on a fairly regular basis here in Ottawa too, and this gentleman gives excellent advice. I have heard very similar advice from other shamans (both Native and one who whose parents were Karelian Finns) and also from ministers and rabbis and my own grandmother. It pays to heed the wisdom of your elders, whatever your cultural tradition is because a lot of different ways of thinking come to the same conclusions!

🙏🏽 thank you for sharing this beautiful video! Glad to see you’re well. The issue of the narrative millions perhaps billions of us we believe in is that we are apart from nature and either in a battle or at nature’s mercy...rather than understanding that we are part of the system. Life, death, health, illness...emotions...etc. Someone lovingly told me that we are perfect the way we are, simply because we exist: we are part of Nature, and Nature is always perfect, looking to balance...

In a world so full of uncertainty, it's easy to lose our sense of being... Yet, if we lose it then surely we have the power to find it... Searching isn't necessary. Breathe, listen to the nature, love yourself and feel gratitude for all you are.

Hey George! Really enjoyed this video and the lengths you take to dive to the traditions and wisdom of matters. I too relate to your situation and the shamans words. Because of reading so much philosophy I was constantly thinking what is the correct or right thing to do. My hero's journey took me to just being. Enjoy the journey!

It is my opinion George that the more miles you journey along your path, the more your doubts will fade. Walking gently on the earth and bringing friends into your life will strengthen your confidence. As you journey, you strengthen the confidence of your viewers - well you do this viewer. Hope all's well😇

The New Message encourages us to trust the deeper mind inside ourselves, what the New Message calls 'Knowledge'. I've found in times of self doubt and confusion, if I come back to that place, if I evoke the word 'Knowledge' inside myself and the meaning that it has established inside me, I'm met with a great peace and a budding certainty. It has become an invaluable resource in meeting the challenges in my life.

Best thing I've seen this lifetime, just when I needed it, too. Fought a lot of battles lately. For me right when things get their most difficult, I know a really important message and self realization is about to come through. Something that tells you all your efforts were worth it and you are on the right path, push through. Here it is.... after physical, emotional pain, breakups, death of loved ones, agression from negative people in professional industries and jobs, insecurity, liars, cheats, thieves, and intimidators. I know it sounds extreme, but if you are going through this it won't.

Something that I listened to once has been resonating with me for awhile. Us humans often seen us and nature as separate. We see a domain that we can conquer. In reality, from what you said, we come from nature. We are nature. Once we realize we are equals or even a small part in the vastness of nature then we will find a new peace.

Just yesterday I came to know how increasingly people are wanting to go off the grid, it made me think if I wanted to do it and why?
I've just watched a couple of your videos before this one and it made me think again.
"SLOW TRAVEL IN THE AGE OF SPEED".
Just how much is lost in the quest for speed, and cutting-edge. What is the price of speed - we LIVE less, we DIE more.
I'll let this marinate in my mind for some time before contemplating on what it means for me.

Wow I’ve been saying this for a few years observing how out of balance the world is to understand the chaos & I agree as someone people seek for deep wisdom & understanding of life & why I live slow. I worked myself & been used by a system that’s left me more troubles than I’ve caused as a human. Making life useless, depressing, anxiety driven to change the structure & debt & disaster caused by human error effecting me & others daily. Sadly we must stop playing the game of the elites & debt slavery & unite to help & when we find a world helping every life form we will reach the closest to heaven & peace mankind could ever be.

until you emotionally, intellectually, viscerally realize that YOU are the path, you will have doubt. this world catches hold of us as infants and demands we come 'out of ourselves' as the great doer of great things. all this anxiety people feel is because on some level, you know, or at least are experiencing that satisfaction isn't on the other side of your skin. it will be the toughest thing to extricate yourself from the programming, but  it's the only way to ever have good living.

You answered all your questions in this video. The subtitles say at one point “we are nature”, yes, like the leaf of tree. When you let go of this foolish idea of self, you will explode into everything. We are not names, jobs, status. As you said, we are the expression of existence, of this cosmic intelligence. In this human form only experience life as it is. Seek nothing outside.

Doubting yourself is THE MOST PRECIOUS THING EVER. It's what makes you reasonable, what makes you open to change, what makes you not arrogant and makes you learn. PLEASE KEEP ON DOUBTING YOURSELF, the world is full of d*cks thinking they're always right and being the worst a**holes just because they are totally uncapable of doubting themselves.

1) He was talking to george, not necessarily giving us all advice. George’s life is personal and different from ours so please don’t just disregard all of your reasonable doubts.
If you’re working to achieve something big of course there will be doubts but remember that sometimes these doubts signal that more work must be done. Try a little harder, put in some more effort and then you’ll reach a point where you’re comfortable enough. This point gives you confidence that the work you’ve done was well invested and you can basically do whatever that thing is with perfect ease.

When we find ourselves doing that
It's just a shift in perception

So now I just be present and keep my mind busy" talking about what I'm doing at that very moment.!

Yes George you are certainly on the right path. I just hope I get the chance to meet that Shaman, he is such a wonderful and wise man. The really great healers can read us like a book! That wisdom resides in us all provided we can become more in touch with our higher/true selves rather than be controlled by our ego mind. For most of my life I too lacked confidence and had problems interacting with people and then 10 years ago I discovered tai chi and qi gong. Once I started a path that helped me to heal a lifetime of trauma, and it can be physical or emotional, my life started to change. When I made qi gong an integral part of my life then change happened faster and now the progress is exponential! Finding my master and his school of teachers helped guide me but without my dogged determination and surrounding myself with positive information the change would not have happened!
Then I stumbled on something called the Healing Cycle(from old Tai Chi notes I had):
Step 1: All healing begins by working on the shoulders.
Step 2: Then the breath relaxes.
Step 3: Then the mind begins to relax
Step 4: The way we interact with people changes
Step 5: Then our good energy will begin to have an affect on those around us ... very much what the shaman alluded to in the video.
I realised my transformation mirrored the Healing Cycle to a T. I am so thankful for my journey that I want to share this knowledge with all so they too can benefit like I have.

Interpreting what they say and putting it through the lense of a twenty year old (which I am too) is not an improvement in most cases, in my opinion.

To summarize I think your videos would be better if your main focus was helping the people you interview convey their messages better. You are a cool person and all, but you interview some really profound thinkers and no twenty year old has experienced enough to be able to add significantly to what they have to say in terms of wisdom. It's a fact of life, as far as I can tell. And a good one, since it implies that with age comes spiritual and psychological growth.

Of course your own point of view on all these topics is valuable too, but that is a different issue altogether.

Many thanks for your work, which is awesome.

Just like you George I am also lost and don't know which path to take and keep on thinking on what to do next. Maybe it's just the mind that doubt ourselves and if it keep quiet we come to know of our true self that is full of goodness.
Buddhism also made me realize of this.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom 🙏. All the best on your journey.

The message was not for you George that's why you didn't understand it you are merely the catalyst that carried the message to those who need to hear it. For those who it resonates , the message is for them 🙏🏾

Thank you for sharing George. What shaman said sounded pretty personal but I feel like many can actually relate.

In the mean time can't help but correct a few translation discrepancies :)
1. This one over here (meaning George) - he ha not yet fully realised where he is going / what his path is.
2. Doubting him self all the time. "Am I doing it right?". What should he do - he should keep it mind all the time
that he is doing it right. (As in: "he must believe that he is on the right path"). One should not doubt himself.
Doubt one's own kindness (as in fundamental everyone has a capacity for kindness).
3. If one doubts himself - he will always _suffer_. (will live in )
4. ??? one should follow a path and pursue goodness(?) / kindness.
5. And what ever you know and master - one should share with others (as in teach/show the way) - that is the life.
6. One can't (should not) keep it all inside.

I guess it is not Fundamentally different but I couldn't help but pick on subtle differences.
Hope this helped.

Feeling thankful for being and understanding Russian and everything that gena was saying. He sounds a lot like my grandpa  😆 he’s definitely right tho. “They” make us believe we have to be running around like ants always trying to make something of ourselves and prove things

Baikal is truly a magical place! Thank you for the video! Only Genadiy deserves that his name is pronounced correctly. It’s pronounced with G as in the word “game”. As his short name is Gena :-)

Whatever you are going through, its temporary. You are eternal. You are an individual expression of your Creator. You are life itself. Any problem in your life comes from an idea you believe to be true and a fear based emotion attached to it. Its all mental. Powerlessness is an illusion. You are the power in your life. Any circumstance has no power or meaning other than what you choose to believe. Be strong

Sauna, shamanism, respect for nature; so much of the culture from Siberia seems strongly related to the traditional nordic cultures  - as well as expressing a strong Chinese relationship. Training Tai Chi fits in harmoniously in the mountains where I live...

5:08 ADVICE IF YOU’RE DOUBTING YOURSELF
5:44 Follow your path and keep pursuing goodness.  And your goodness will spread to everyone around you.
7:00 Doing TAI CHI on the deepest frozen lake in the world.  (well it helps that it is flat and probably smooth where he did a round.  lol)

You are your path. You can only be where you are at this moment. Live your life with each day having a purpose - and access it the end of each day. Ask yourself if you are happy with what you said, did and thought. If not, improve on it the next day. Each day is a new gift of life - a new opportunity to reinvent yourself.
