I am a business leader who has held key positions in major pharmaceutical companies in Europe, United States, and Latin America, and have more than twenty years of experience turning around businesses by improving the working climate. I previously served as general manager of Novo Nordisk in Argentina, which in 2003 was selected as the Best Company To Work For(r) and remained in the top five listed over the following four years under my watch. Since 2007, I have overseen the Latin American operations of Novo Nordisk from Brazil, also recognized as one of the best companies to work for in that area. I am a founding member of Conscious Capitalism Brazil.

I believe this book is simply excellent. Simple and excellent.
The fact that it’s written by a “real person” whose main activity is to lead people in a true company is not minor. Mr. Grayeb is not a writer, maybe that's the reason why his words are so accurate and insightful.
Self-awareness is just the starting point to success. With Federico’s holistic approach many current business paradigms are questioned: What is the real meaning of Success? What’s true team spirit? Is it possible to be a great leader without integrity?
To be a successful Leader one must first know its own life purpose. This concept is simple and obvious yet hard to find at these global and crazy times.
Thanks to this book many “leaders” or “followers” might learn that staying within the comfort zone kills the passion of the soul. And companies rarely survive without that energy.

I was struck by the deep simplicity of this highly inspiring guide on how to find more meaning to our jobs...and ultimately our lives.
It breaks away from the classic management books and introduces psychological concepts in a clear and simple way. It is good that it uses real life examples, that one can easily relate to, if one happens to be working in the corporate world, as it is my case. I read it during a business trip right before making a presentation to my management team... I cannot tell why or how but it made me interact with my employees on a different level!
This book left me reflecting on how to work on my own self awareness before I try to instil in others the will to do the same. Great balance between effective leadership and care for the people you lead...highly recommendable!

I read a lot of business books, and this one is excellent. It offers a concise, practical, and inspirational message about how to lead your business. Grayeb makes a compelling case for first getting in touch with your own authentic self, then connecting with your team, and finally with your community, to better manage your employees. I found this book helpful in addressing quickly and clearly key issues for business leaders hoping to improve their teams and their lives. I picked it up just by the title and did not expect such profound thoughts that made examine what I was doing as a manager and human being...it is an awesomely simple guide to overall question your sense of purpose in life. If you are stuck in your job or wondering how you can become an inspiring leader, this is an excellent stepping stone.
