Spirituality Before Religions: Spirituality is Unseen Science...Science is Seen Spirituality 18/07/2019
by Kaba Hiawatha Kamene
( 2,066 )
$10.70

Spirituality Before Religions, delves deeply into many ideas researched by many brilliant writers and scholars. My ultimate purpose is to synthesize these writings into a comprehensive study of ancient African Deep Thought with Tep Heseb, the Kemetic (Egyptian) process of accurately reckoning by using the correct method of analysis. This clear and concise philosophy guided early humanity into the heavens on earth, while creating a heaven on earth.
African educator, Dr. John Henrik Clarke teaches us that to be self-sufficient, people have to see the Creator when they look in the mirror. If not, they will never have a healthy “self-concept.” He reminds us,
“Anytime you turn on your own concept of God, you are no longer a free man or woman. No one needs to put chains on your body, because the chains are on your mind. Anytime someone says their God is ugly and they release their God and embraces someone else’s God, there is no hope for their freedom until they once more believe in their own concept of the Deity.”1
Dr. Alvin Boyd Kuhn says,
“No matter how emotionally, how fanatically the worshipper pours out adoration to a person in objective life, the work of his own evolution is not accomplished until he effectuates the ultimate divinization of the nuclear potentiality of deific fire within his own self-controlled area of consciousness”
Dr. Kuhn continues his thought,
“The balanced forces of human uplift would be thrown into immediate chaos if it were in the end possible for a man to achieve his apotheosization (deification of a person) vicariously, or in any other way than through his own effort. Man was provided from the start with the presence of a unit of divine fire within the heart of his own way to the goal of glory. All efforts are driven towards the cultivation of the God within man.”
These are the main points I will make in Spirituality Before Religions: Spirituality is Unseen Science, Science is Seen Spirituality.
Tep Heseb is a major Kemetic (Egyptian) concept that can be interpreted to mean, “An Accurate Reckoning by Using the Correct Method.” We must analyze the Kemetic (Egyptian) writings by using the method applied by Africans for Africans in Africa.
There are Two (2) Laws of Cosmic Spirituality
1st Law – Love and Respect the Creator within you; know you are the Creator
having a human experience.
2nd Law– Love and Respect the Creator in Nature the same way you love the
Creator within yourself.
The purpose of “Spirituality Before Religions,” is to demonstrate that humanity’s earliest ideas about spirituality originated in the minds of human beings conceived, born, nurtured, sustained, educated and civilized in the Great Lakes Region in Central/East/South Africa. The Great Lakes Region includes countries we today call Kenya, Uganda, Tanganyika, Congo, and Southern Africa. After these ancient scholars perfected their worldview, they then traveled north, south, east, and west along ancient river systems, developing civilizations in harmony with Nature on the African continent. Over time, they explored the Earth and laid the foundations for all other ethnic stocks and cultures world-wide.
As we enter into the Age of Aquarius, we must recognize that it is the Age of the Feminine Principle. There is an indirect and direct relationship between Black Holes, Worm Holes and White Holes in the Cosmos with the Womb of the WombedMan. Black Holes can be compared to the Placenta connected to the mother’s uterine wall, that attracts, captures and sends life through the Umbilical cord that sustains the fetus, through the navel connection.
The future wealth of the earth is going to be Solar Power.

Shabaka's Stone For Children: An African Star Story 12/11/2022
by Kaba Hiawatha Kamene
( 5 )
$11.99

Somewhere around 710 years before the common era (BCE), Neset Bity (Pharaoh) Shabaka directed his scientists and scholars to rewrite the work of their ancestors titled, “The Memphite Theology.” This ancient creation story was written on either papyrus or leather and had been damaged by time and climate. King Shabaka had the Memphite Theology carved on black basalt stone and the story tells a metaphoric drama that outlined the coming into being and continuing process of becoming of the cosmic universe. They enhanced this process by comparing and contrasting the pattern in all living things in the cosmos and on earth. The ancient African scholars who studied and taught biology, made comparisons to the development of the divine human embryo. Other scholars in different subject areas made the same comparisons with this cosmic allegory.

Shabaka’s Stone: An African Theory on the Origin and Continuing Development of the Cosmic Universe 18/03/2021
by Kaba Hiawatha Kamene
( 316 )
$10.01

Shabaka’s Stone explores and explains many scientific theories on multi-dimensional levels.

Shabaka’s Stone tells us that we are born with everything we need to solve all of our life’s challenges. Every human is born with a Messiah (Asar/Heru) and a Judas (Seten). Judas’ job is to stop us from achieving our divine purpose. The Messiah’s responsibility is to make sure that Judas is not successful. Life is the result of the balance of this relationship. The Messiah may fall down nine (9) times, but rises ten (10) times. The metaphor of the Asarian Drama. We are the Creator having a human experience.

The Nun wanted to come into being. He/She tried countless times. Finally, one of her/his attempts succeeded and Ptah came forward and created Atum. Atum was consciousness and named all and every thing. This trinity began the beginning of time and continues to become to this day. Every day, when you wake up is like Ptah rising out of the Nun (state of unconscious). This energy conversion, waking you up initiates your simple and self-conscious state of thinking, realizing who you are coming up out of your sleep.

I've heard a lot of great informative lectures on YouTube from the great teacher Prof. Kaba Hiawatha Kamene. I've found this book which was also recommended by him in those lectures as a much have book with many other books written by him. First, The cover art is simply beautiful and this is a thick book which is filled with so much great information that I can't wait to get into. The delivery was on time in perfect condition with 304 freshly printed pages ready to read. So before I start reading and begin my study I would definitely like to recommend this book and call it a must have for every household if you're into spirituality or even if you just like reading books in general. Thank you Amazon and Prof. Kaba Hiawatha Kamene 👍🏾📚

My journey of Self Knowledge began over a decade ago. I could not possibly enumerate the multitude of lectures, articles, and books I've read on that journey. This book is without a doubt among the absolute finest. I expected some dissemination of theological knowledge with complimentary philosophy pertaining to the ancient African's idea of religion. What I got was an intermingling of those themes along with historical data, a plethora of references and reference material that was wonderfully expansive, and extremely elucidating. This is an extremely well written, well researched tome which is as dense as lead (very little fluff to speak of). I now understand ancient African history as well as their spirituality better than I'd ever hoped before reading this most wonderful book. If you are black, and on the journey of Self Knowledge like me, Spirituality Before Religions is an absolutely essential stop. Hotep, and good reading.

I recently began reading The History of the first council of Nice by Dean Dudley but felt I needed to back up a bit. Brother Kaba's book has filled in a lot of holes and I have only finished the 2nd Chapter. It's an amazing piece of literature and Kaba did a great job of adding reputable scholars. I have heard many of his lectures so I knew some of his views on the subject. I can't wait to finish this book as there is so much History I don't know.

5.0 out of 5 stars The book is deep and thought-provokingReviewed in the United States on January 11, 2020

I saw a YouTube video featuring Kaba Hiawatha Kamene. Because of his profound teachings and spiritual insight, I decided to buy his book. "Spirituality Before Religions: Spirituality is Unseen Science...Science is Seen Spirituality" blew my mind on a deeper level. Since I couldn't put it down, I read this book within a week. Professor Kamene's book was easy to read and didn't appear to try to impress his audience with his intellectualism. In order for the audience to comprehend the material, the book was written in layman's terms. I learned a lot from this book. For example, I had no idea the Spirit of Ma'at was centered on mathematics. Ma'at referred to mathematics. Professor Kamene explained the deep significance of the Age of Aquarius to me.

This was the book for anyone looking for deep and profound spiritual knowledge and information. You wouldn't regret purchasing this book.

I like how we evolved as human beings, from it being just living organisms in the water and land. I see how there's some truth in lies when it comes to knowing the difference of an ape, or gorilla, or "homoapiens" - probably not saying that right. But according to America they say we came from apes when really, that is impossible when we came from the birth of our human-mothers from a human father. I like how the umbilical cord represents a plug for the baby to stay alive in the womb. I didn't know it has a vein in it and helps the baby breath oxygen, through its organs and give it blood supply. It explains to me why babies end up having to stay for a while at the hospital because the umbilical cord been cut off.

This rendition by Kaba Hiawatha Kemene is one of the first books that one should read to learn some Truth backed with reliable references. I will use Kaba's metaphor of a slingshot to describe my journey when I read Spirituality Before Religions: Spirituality is Unseen Science...Science is Seen Spirituality. In order to propel your knowledge to a higher level, you have to physically pull the slingshot back as far as possible. Upon release of the energy contained from contracting the slingshot, you propel an object much farther. The object in this case is your knowledge of where and how you originated and maybe why you do and say the things that you say.

As we enter into the new age of Aquarius, this text book and kemetic scroll is the perfect scholastic preparation for activating your Melanated mind. If you don't innerstand or know your history, you will not innerstand your place in history. Professor Kaba encourages you to revert back from religion to spirituality. Brilliant! “Spirituality Before Religions” is culture and lifestyle.

Spirituality before Religions is a book for people who are interested in the earliest formations of spiritual thought and practise by humans. It takes you on a linear journey through the scientific and theological beginnings of the universe, to the creation of Earth and life on this magical planet. Think Brian Cox meets, David Attenborough meets, Wakanda 🙅🏾‍♀️.

Solely focused on Africa and in particular ancient Kemet (Egypt) and the original peoples that formed this civilisation. At the heart of their spiritual understanding and practise was nature, "...the hidden and revealed forces of the nature of agriculture, became the basis for humanity's wisdom of the cycle of spiritual growth and ascension." I found this to be quite pertinent considering our current "sustainability" era. It was also quite interesting to know that the sun was the first entity to be worshipped. "Africans worshipped the life-giving energies that emanated from the sun, not the celestial body." Which makes sense when you think about the impact and subsequent formation of life from the sun's light, sound and heat energy here on Earth.

If like me, you love ancient Egyptian history, this book will not disappoint! It breaks down who the original people were, their dynasties, the invasions and worldwide influence of this rich African culture. A well researched, excellent body of work by the amazing Professor Kaba Kamene.

Prepare to. be Enlightened

I enjoyed reading this books. The concepts this book introduced were very enlighting. I liked how it married spiritual concepts to scienctific concepts. These ideals are circular in theory because they all exists on an equal plane. The book is a lot to digest and should be read more than once to truly understand the material presented. I could highly recommend this book to enlighten yourself on the intergrual knowledge of the Ancient Africa.

Im kinda scared to do a pre review on this work but I did purchase the right to do so.

So far I'm not a fan of his style of righting however it is on point (mostly so far it is accurate) I however i am a big fan of his lectures!

So far I have read most of the works he gathered from other people and I keep my Dictionary and computer open and Fired up with every page.

I probably will be changing my post review later on after finishing the book but as it stands for now it feels like a re read of everything I have read, I can say that for those whom never read many other works you are mostly in for a big treat! And I will also say yes! His work is 100% accurate as far as what I have read.

This book was very enlightening. I learned so much from this book, things you don’t learn in history class. Reading this also realized how much unlearning we have to do as well. This book isn’t heavy but it’s rich with information which can make it difficult to understand sometimes. That’s why it took me months to complete. I wanted to take my time to soak all this rich history in. I love the Appendixes, it helped a lot. Good read, you just have to be in the right mental capacity.

This book discusses the origin of religion and existence. It will demonstrate the elementary foundation of most religious practices, and it will challenge us to explore our spirituality outside of religion. It also did an excellent job connecting science to spirituality.

Unity Beliefs

Unity emphasizes the divine potential within all of us and teaches that through a practical understanding and application of what Jesus taught, every person can realize and express his/her divine potential for a happier, fuller and more successful life.

Deity

Unity has abandoned the popular image that God is an elderly, superhuman male with a white flowing beard who lives in a remote place "up there." We do not believe that God is fickle, answering some prayers and ignoring others. We do not look upon God as a deity to be feared.

One fundamental attribute of God is that God is good.

God is within each of us and is directly accessible. We need only to quietly turn within ourselves to contact God.

Unity believes Divinity exists in all things and is present throughout creation: in humans, plants, animals, and the earth itself.

Jesus Christ

Unity rejects the traditional Christian view that Jesus is a deity to be worshipped;

we point out that at no time did Jesus tell his disciples to worship him. Rather, we look upon Jesus as a great healer, miracle worker, and mystic who had a direct access to God. We believe that his actions can be emulated by believers today.

One's life is to be dominated by love and compassion, even toward one's enemies.

Unity rejects the concept of original sin (the belief that because of Adam and Eve's actions in the Garden of Eden, we are all conceived in iniquity and born in sin). We look upon the Genesis story as an allegory; a very human attempt to explain our beginnings. We emphasize that humans are created in the image and likeness of God and are thus not intrinsically evil or sinful.

Heaven

Rather than looking upon heaven as a place "up there" to be experienced as a reward after death, Unity conceives of heaven as expressed by Jesus: "The kingdom of heaven is at hand," and "The kingdom of God is in the midst of (within) you."

Charles Fillmore defined it as "a state of consciousness in which the soul and body are in harmony with Divine Mind." One does not have to wait until death. Heaven can thus be enjoyed at any time through prayer. Through proper technique, attitude and receptivity one can elevate one's personal consciousness to a heavenly state.

Hell

The Unity Church does not conceive hell to be a place of eternal torment in which people are eternally punished with fire because of their beliefs and/or actions during life. It is not a place to go to after death.

Rather it is a state of consciousness to be suffered here on earth.

Charles Fillmore wrote:

"One does not have to die in order to go to hell, any more than one has to die to get to heaven. Both are states of mind and conditions, which people experience as a direct outworking of their thoughts, beliefs, words, and acts. If one's mental processes are out of harmony with the law of man's [sic] being, they result in trouble and sorrow; mental as well as bodily anguish overtakes one and this is hell."

Satan

Many Christians look upon Satan as a quasi-deity, an all-evil presence who is the opposite of the goodness of God. Satan and God are often portrayed as fighting over individuals' souls. This dual divinity has obvious links to Zoroastrianism which was incorporated into ancient Jewish legends which, in turn, were later codified as parts of the book of Genesis. Other aspects of Satan were derived from ancient Greek and Babylonian beliefs.

Unity interprets Satan's temptation of Jesus symbolically

Satan did not tempt Jesus to turn stones into bread;

it was the "voice of human hunger"

the temptation to throw himself off the highest part of the temple was "the voice of human desire for recognition"

the temptation to become a ruler was "the voice of worldliness."

Thus Satan is not a physical entity but is

one's selfishness, greed or the desire to turn away from God.

Satan can be resisted by systematically striving towards one's Divine nature.

Sin

Traditionally, sin has been defined as falling short of perfection.

Unity uses an alternate definition: "living under a false sense of separation from God."

We view this as a delusion because God is, in reality, continuously present within us. This false belief can be overcome through prayer.

Life after death

Unity defines heaven and hell as conditions in the here and now.

They are not places where people go to spend eternity.

Rather, many in Unity believe in a form of reincarnation.

After death the soul is believed to leave the body and to live again in another human body.

This is/was a common belief among:

present day Eastern religions.

the early Christian church prior to the Council of Constantinople in 533 CE.

the Essenes, one of the three Jewish sects while Jesus was alive.

Unity cites references from the Christian Scriptures which show that

the concept of reincarnation was common during Jesus' time.

In the Gospels of Matthew and Mark, John the Baptist is referred to as the reincarnation of Elijah. In Matthew, some of the populace guessed that Jesus was a reincarnation of John the Baptist; others guessed Elijah; still others guessed

Jeremiah or one of the other prophets. Jesus neither criticized the people for their beliefs nor declared reincarnation to be heresy.

Each lifetime is viewed as a time of preparation for the next life, leading towards eventual perfection.

Prayer

Real prayer does not involve begging God for a favor or repeating standard prayers in a ritual setting.

It is an act of becoming spiritually one with God

If one applies Ralph Waldo Emerson's concept of prayer,

the contemplation of the facts of life from the highest point of view, then prayer can be a constant personal activity.

One can also use

the "arms" of prayer by mentally embracing some other individual as the target of a prayer or

the "wings" of prayer by directing one's prayer at all those who are receptive.

Sacred texts

The Hebrew and Christian Scriptures are the main religious text used by Unity followers. However, all writings of all world religions are respected.
